Shiloh 2019: Bishop Oyedepo Slams Buhari’s Govt Over “Hate Speech” Bill

Founder of the Living Faith Church, popularly known as Winners Chapel, Bishop David Oyedepo has referred to the hate speech bill as a ‘crazy idea’ in Shiloh 2019.

The Bishop claimed the aim of the hate speech bill was to silence Nigerians. Bishop Oyedepo boasted that no one can silence him. He said no one can silence a man of God because he is called by God.

Speaking at his church yearly program, Shiloh 2019 which is tagged ‘Breaking limit, Bishop Oyedepo said:

“Hate speech is one of the most crazy idea ever.

“You say something truthful about them and they call it hate speech? You can’t silence a man of God because he is called by God.

“A prophet is answerable to God only, what God tells him he will say. You cannot stand for God and be a loser.

“I don’t know if anyone loves Nigeria more than I do. Imagine they are not hanging killers, they want to hang ‘hate speakers?

“ Anyways that is dead already, if the wicked will not stop his wickedness God will stop his wickedness.”

Bishop David Oyedepo is one of the most powerful preachers in Africa. He is the chancellor of landmark and covenant university.

In 2011, Forbes magazine named him the richest pastor in Nigeria. His church, Winners chapel has branches in over 300 cities, in Nigeria, other Africa countries, United kingdom and the United States.
