Reece James renews contract with Chelsea

Chelsea ’s wonder kid Reece James have signed a new contract keeping him at the club till 2025. The young English right-back has showed signs of getting to the top level with every chance he has gotten after scoring in his debut against Grimsby.
Reece James is also Chelsea ’s youngest-ever Champions League scorer with his goal against Ajax in the 4-4 thriller.
“I have always wanted to be here and another five-and-a-half years means a lot to me and a lot to my family’’ James said after signing his new contract with Chelsea.
In other news, Juventus manager Mauricio Sarri said it is really annoying that Lionel Messi has more Ballon d’Or than Cristiano Ronaldo.

He plans on helping Ronaldo match Messi on Six Ballon d’Or titles with Juventus. “I would like to help Cristiano win the sixth Ballon d’Or first, It’s really annoying thinking that someone won more [Ballons d’Or] than him. I think about him and I think helping him, it is my goal and the goal of the team. It is right for him.” Sarri told reporters.

According to Mail, Chelsea’s Ngolo Kante was squeezed out of the UEFA Team of the Year to make room for Cristiano Ronaldo as the Portuguese earned less vote than Lionel Messi, Sadio Mane and Lewandoski in the attacking positions.
The UEFA Team of the Year is usually shaped in a 4-3-3 formation but last year’s team was changed to a 4-2-4 fomation to make room for Ronaldo.
Inter Milan has agreed a £1.3million deal to sign Ashley Young from Manchester United.
The United captain’s contract was meant to expire by the summer but Antonio Conte looks set to grab the deal before then. Ashley young also turned down a new contract offer from the Red Devils.
Arsenal are in talks to sign PSG defender Layvin Kurzawa, as the gunners are short on defenders due to a number of injuries. Kurzawa’s contract with PSG will be expiring in the summer so PSG will either cash in on him or offer him a new contract instead of living on a free in the summer.
Inter Milan are in talks to sign Eriksen from Tottenham with the Danish star contract expiring this summer. Eriksen’s agent has met with Inter Milan and a transfer might be completed in the next hours.
Manchester United are in talks with Sporting to sign their midfielder Bruno Fernandes but both clubs have still not agreed on a price as Sporting values the player more than the asking price of United.
