The Premier League Big Guns All Dropped Points
It was an exciting day in the English Premier League yesterday as all the big sides were unable to get a win with Watford vs Tottenham opening the day with a goalless draw.
Watford captain Troy Deeney had the chance to get the host a win but he couldn’t convert the penalty after 70mins.
Late sub Ignacio Pusseto saved Watford in stoppage time with a goal line clearance to deny Tottenham a win.
Manchester City vs Crystal Palace followed up shortly after with a 2-2 draw. Recent signing Cenk Tosun got the first goal of the game close to the end of first half.
Palace seated really deep in the second half and defended really well but they couldn’t stop Sergio Aguero from scoring a brace with just 6mins left of the game.
With the match being at 2-1 and few minutes left to play, Palace put in the pressure and Manchester city’s Fernandinho was unlucky to get an own goal at the last minute of th
e game to end the tie at 2-2.
After getting a 1-1 draw last week at Palace, Arteta’s Arsenal was desperate for a win against Sheffield United to revive their hopes of a top four finish in the premier league.
Martinelli opened the scoring for the gunners after pouncing on Pepe’s cross. Sheffield United kept the fight on and it paid off with John Fleck grabbing the equaliser for the visitors. Arsenal was unable to create many more chances after and could only settle for a draw.

Chelsea with the last match of the day was hoping to strengthen their spot on the top four with an away win to Newcastle.
Chelsea had some good chances but were unable to convert any and the game was looking set to end in a goalless draw before Isaac Hayden’s header at the last minute of stoppage time to secure 3 points for the home side. Liverpool will host Manchester United today, while Burnley will face Leicester in the premier league.
