AJ promoter Eddie Hearn wants Tyson Fury fight
Anthony Joshua promoter Eddie Hearn has expressed his desire for a showdown between Joshua and Tyson Fury.
After Tyson Fury defeated Deontay Wilder on Sunday, fans all over the world has been yearning for a fight between them.
The British heavyweight boxers are currently the holders of all the belts in their division.
Eddie Hearn while speaking to Sky Sports: “You will get this fight. We will do everything that it takes to make this fight.
“Last time, you had us and Team Wilder and we were locking heads. Right now, you have two guys and two camps that genuinely want this fight, that genuinely will do everything that they can to make this fight. It is the only fight.
This is a fight that everyone wants to see but there’s still some hurdles to cross as Deontay Wilder has an option of asking for a rematch against Tyson Fury, while Joshua is in talks to fight Kubrat Palev in Tottenham Hostpur stadium by June.
Eddie Hearn went further to talk about how Anthony Joshua also wants the fight “He [Anthony Joshua] phoned me yesterday, we had a good conversation on the phone and his first thing that he said is: ‘how do we make this fight happen?’ I said to him, look firstly this hinges on Wilder.
“If we can go straight into the Fury fight this summer, that is everybody’s preference.
With the shape of things, the possibility of the fight depends on Deontay Wilder if he will exercise the option of a rematch against Fury, and if he does and comes out victorious, Wilder vs Joshua will be the preference.
