“You can’t pay salaries, you are giving appointment to bbnaija stars”- Nigerian Lecturer fumes

A certain Nigerian Lecturer, Dipo Awojide has slammed Bayelsa State Governor, Douye Diri for giving political appointments to Nengi and Trikytee.

Recall that on Friday, November 6, the Bayelsa state governor, Duoye Diri, appointed BBNaija season 5 former housemates, Nengi and TrikyTee as his Senior Special Assistants.

Reacting to this, the Nigerian lecturer  said such appointments show that Nigeria as a country still have a long way to go.

Laying emphasis on credibility, the lecturer particularly questioned the qualification and competence of the appointed reality stars.

He also berated the Bayelsa Sate governor for appointing the reality stars when he has been owing salaries of workers.

He tweeted:

“I like many of these BBNaija folks but I don’t know why many of you are celebrating state governments dishing out Senior Special Assistant appointments. SSA on what exactly? And why?

Do these reality tv stars have the qualification and competence? We’ve got a long long way to go. You fucking can’t pay salaries! But you’re spending public money like a drug dealer!”
