22year old lady sells baby to Pastor for N10,000

A Pastor residing in Ondo West Local Government Area, named Olawale but popularly called Eri Aditu,offered the sum of N10,000 in order to buy a baby

The 22year old mother of the day old baby,Oladayo,after delivering the baby, wanted the baby dead and so cut the umbilical cord of the baby.The brother,Yinka who saw all these quickly informed their Pastor who offered to buy the baby after they found out the baby was still alive even after his umbilical cord was cut off

“I was told to bring N10,000, so that they can give the doctor N5,000 for his job and I did because if I did not, another person would come and buy the baby.” said Olawale.

The Pastor,also revealed that the baby was given to him in a sack with the placenta.

The lady said:

“I asked the Pastor to take the baby away and bring N10,000 because I don’t know how I am going to take care of the baby.” she confessed.

The Pastor said

“I went to the Amotekun to report the woman and she was handed over to Police at Area Commander Yaba in Ondo West Local Government Area.”
