“It’s Not Easy Being A Wealthy Kid And Still Work” – Jim Iyke praises Davido
Nollywood actor, Jim Iyke has praised star singer, David Adeleke aka Davido for his hard work even as a rich kid.
During an interview on ‘The Net’s Secret Questions Show’ Jim Iyke was asked to choose between Wizkid and Davido and he picked the ‘Jowo’ hitmaker over Wizkid.
Explaining the reason for his choice, the actor said that it is not easy to be a rich man and still go out to hustle.
Jim Iyke noted that being a rich kid makes you have certain luxuries in life at your disposal so it becomes very hard to find the proper motivation to go out there and chase after your dreams like how poor kids approach life.
Davido’s father, Dr. Deji Adeleke, born on March 6, 1957, in Enugu, is known as a generous investor and an ingenious businessman. His elder brother is the former Governor of Osun State, Isiaka Adeleke.
He is also the co-founder of the Adeleke University located in Ede, Osun state, Pacific Holdings Limited CEO, a charity man and devoted Christian.
The net worth of Dr. Deji Adeleke is estimated at over $700m which doubled in two years. The incredible net worth growth results from his smart investment in Record labels, Banking sector, Security and Real estate.
