Kamala Harris’ step daughter, Ella Emhoff signs modelling contract

21years old Ella Emhoff, step daughter of US Vice President, Kamala Harris, and daughter of Second Gentleman, Dough Emhoff, has achieved a new feat as she signs a modelling contract.

Ella, who is currently a senior at Parson School of Design in New York City, studying Fine arts where she majors on textile signed this new deal with IMG models. She got noticed by the President of IMG models,Ivan Bart, immediately she walked in the door during the Presidential primaries over the summer.

Mr Bart in an interview with New York times said,

“It is not really about shape, size, or gender anymore, Ella communicates this moment in time. There is a cheekiness and joy she exudes.”

IMG models,is an agency that represents high ranking supermodels like Stephanie Seymour, Lily Aldridge, Gigi and Bella Hadid and more.

Excited Ella said,

“I was really surprised when everything with IMG was happening because when I was younger, I never saw that as being part of my timeline. As someone who, like a lot of young girls out there, had self confidence issues, it is intimidating and scary to go into this world that is hyper- focused on you and your body.”

There are a lot of people out there that need a lot of help. If I can do anything to help with that, I want to, and I think this opportunity will be really beneficial to that”.
