Nollywood actor Victor Decker passes on
The Nollywood industry has lost another of its veteran actor in the person of Victor Decker. News of his death was announced by Uzee Usman a fellow actor on Tuesday morning.
He wrote,
“Can’t believe I’m typing this!
“But a reminder that this is not our home, we’re all on a journey!.
“This is how I chose to remember you!
“Goodnight GENERAL!
“Rest In Peace!”
Decker starred in films like Double Strings, If I am President and Lotanna.
He was a member of the Abuja branch of the Actors’ Guild of Nigeria (AGN). The cause of his death is not yet known.
Lotanna is a story set in the 90s of a young man who looses his father at a young age, and then while struggling to achieve his dreams as a musician his father’s old debts come back to haunt him.
“If I am” President is a movie set in the present-day political terrain and discourses in Nigeria, “If I Am President” tells the story of 37-year old ZinachiOhams, the presidential candidate of the Nigerian Rebirth Party, a new party made up of young idealists and recently metamorphosed from a Civil Society Organization.
