Singer Faze loses twin sister two days to their 45th birthday
Nigerian Singer Chibuzor Oji popularly known as Faze has lost his twin sister two days to their 45th birthday.
The 44-year-old shared a video of his sister in an Instagram post on Monday 22nd, March.
He wrote,
“It’s a sad day. My Twin sister has left me just two days to our birthday. We the Oji family take strength in knowing that she’ll never have to deal with this world’s problems anymore. We know she’s in a better place now”.
The cause of her death wasn’t revealed.
Faze was a member of the defunct hiphop and R&B music group Plantashun Boiz which had tuface and Blackface as their members. The group got broken in 2004 as each member went to pursue his own career.
Faze is a best-selling Nigerian artist. His first album Faze Alone sold over three million copies, while his second album Independent has sold over 7 million copies.
In the year 2011, Faze made his acting debut starring in the lead male role of ‘Lovechild’ in the critically acclaimed Nigerian movie Alero’s Symphony . He also provided the movie’s soundtrack for which he won an Africa Movie Academy Award in 2012, in the category of Achievement in Soundtrack .
