“You Will Never Make Money As A Singer”- Seyi Shay Tells A 17 Yr Old Who Auditioned, Nigerians Condemn Her Statement

Popular singer, Seyi Shay is currently trending on Twitter and dragged by several Nigerians after her harsh statement to a 17 year old boy who auditioned for Music reality show, Nigerian Idols Last night.

Seyi  told the boy he has a good voice but lacks good performance so he will never make money as a singer.

Her words:

“Somebody lied to you and told you to come and audition, and that person, you should go back and tell them they’re not your friends because that was not good audition.

“Oh, you have a good talking voice, and it comes out in your singing voice, but your performance, terrible. You’re never going to make money being a singer.”
