“It Hurts To See Young Girls Trying To Look Like Ladies On The Internet Who Do Not Look Like Their Pictures In Real Life”- Singer, Enisa Speaks On Social Media Pressure
Popular singer, Enisa, who recently featured Davido on her hit song, is worried about the negative pressure social media has on young girls today.
Enisa tweeted:
“I feel really bad for the kids growing up in this social media era, it hurts to imagine the little kids (especially young girls) that are going to be comparing themselves to look like girls that don’t even look like their own pictures in real life.”
One of her followers with the username @shoutmeceleb wrote:
“Social media is really misleading people right now. But still I believe internet has done more good than harm. We should have self discipline. And know what is good for us. Very toxic environment n d sad tin is kids have access to it anytime any day.
I recently watched a video on Tiktok which is mostly for Gen Z and I saw 6 girls BTW 14 n 16 yrs discussing sex. U needed 2 hear d terrible tins dey were saying dey did on social media smiling.
The more questions I ask myself, d more I see clearly how social media helped drive us down this path.
Hopefully by 2030, every Naija girl wud have embraced going completely nude n start using using cloth to cover just nipple like Nicki Minaj.
Terrible times we are living in.”
