On Wednesday 10th November, 2021, a man named Femi DaCosta stated that he was going to expose Annie Idibia’s cheating scandal in 2019.

Taking to his Twitter account, he wrote,

Annie Idibia Biography

Annie Macaulay-Idibia is a Nigerian model, actress and presenter who was born on the 13th of November, 1984 in Ibadan, Oyo State. Though born in Oyo, Annie is a native of Eket, Akwa Ibom State. She completed her basic education in Ibadan but moved over to Lagos with her mum alongside her three siblings which are all males after the divorce of her parents. As at then, the actress was around the age of 10. In Lagos, their mum became the breadwinner of the family after she got employed in Mobil to become a cook. Being the only female child in the family, Annie helped her mother out in the management of the home and immediately she rounded off her Secondary School at a young age, she began working as a salesgirl. Annie graduated from Lagos State University where she studied Computer Science and University of Lagos where she studied Theatre Arts.

Career

Annie Idibia was first a model before becoming an actress and a presenter. She was a participant of the Queen of All Nations Beauty Pageant where she emerged as the second runner up. She also featured in Tuface’s ‘African Queen’ music video in 2004.

Her acting skills came into limelight after acting ‘Blackberry Babes’ a Movie produced in 2011 and ‘Pleasure and Crime’ a 2010 movie.
In 2009, the actress was nominated as the Best Supporting Actress in the Best Of Nollywood Awards. She won the Fast Rising Actress in 2016 during the African Entertainment Legend Awards.

Marital Life

Annie Idibia met her heartthrob at Even Ezra Studios in Lagos.

Speaking about the incident, she said,

“The moment our eyes met at Even Ezra Studios many years ago, I knew you were the one for me and I for you. Innocent is an extraordinary being. It really seems like yesterday, (can’t believe he is 40 already) he was 24 and I was 15. And I still see the same man when I look at him. So full of life. So much energy”.

They knew each other since 1999 but kicked off a relationship in 2002. They were still in a relationship when she gave birth to her first child, Isabella in December, 2008. In 2013, she tied the knot with Tuface and shortly after their marriage, she gave birth to her second daughter, Olivia in 2014.

Shortly after her husband bagged a major endorsement deal, Annie signed an endorsement deal with Slim tea Global. In 2018, she signed a deal with L’Avyanna Skin Natural, a UK brand. She is no longer there brand ambassador, in a public announcement she made, she revealed that she stopped working for them for over two years.

In 2017, she became an ambassador of Instant Pickup, a mobile enabled laundry application. Former BBN housemate, Tboss was also made an ambassador of the brand.

This didn’t go down well with the family of her husband as some members of Tuface’s family started abusing her therefore washing their dirty linen in public.

While in the heat of the scandal, popular blogger, Gistlover accused the mother of two of also cheating on Tuface with the likes of Nigerian Billionaire Ned Nwoko, the blogger added that Tuface is also going through domestic violence in his home.
