“Why Bolton Wanderers Will Always Be In My Heart” – Jay Jay Okocha
Former Super Eagles player, Austin Okocha, has stated that he’s happy to be back at Reebok Stadium, after he featured in a charity game organized by Bolton Wanderers.
Okocha and a host of other Wanderers legends came together under former manager Sam Allardyce for a charity game over the weekend.
Okocha had a successful spell with the Trotters as he scored 18 goals in 144 games for Wanderers between 2002 and 2006.
The former Nigerian International was the stand out player in a team that also have the likes of Ivan Campo, Fernando Hierro and Youri Djorkaeff.
Speaking on Wednesday concerning the charity game, Okocha stated that Bolton will always remain in his heart.
“It’s great to be back, I have fantastic memories of this place and it will continue to be in my heart. I’m just delighted to be back here.” He said.
