Big Brother Naija is a reality TV show which brings people into limelight while promoting their brands and businesses. It also takes people to greater heights but it all depends on how well they trend.
While some former BBN housemates have laid low and are still doing great, some have continued giving their fans things to talk about as they are always in the news for one achievement, controversy or even endorsement deals.

Gideon Okeke
He was a participant of the maiden edition of Big Brother Naija in 2006. Gideon studied Applied Biochemistry at Nnamdi Azikiwe University. He featured in the popular TV series ‘Tinsel’ and in a South African TV series ‘Jacob’s Cross’.
The BBN star is a movie star, film maker and model. He later attended Lee Strasberg Institute, New York where he obtained training in acting. In 2016, he welcomed a baby girl and in July 7th, 2021, the actor’s wife, Chidera delivered a bouncing baby boy.
Bisola Aiyeola
Bisola was a runner up in the Season 2 edition in 2017 tagged ‘See Gobe’. Before going for the show, she was already an actress. After the reality TV show, Bisola has kept her name trending by going into music and acting more movies. Popular movies she has acted include: Ovy’s Voice, Gold Statue and Sugar Rush. She also featured in the TV series ‘Skinny Girl in Transit’.
It may interest you to know that she was a contestant of the 2008 MTN Project Fame which announced Iyanya and she came out 5th position. In 2018, Bisola won the Trailblazer Awards at the African Magic Viewers Choice Awards. The actress has a daughter, Leyla whom she bore at the age of 23 in 2009. The pregnancy was after she got romantically involved with an artist manager and promoter, Malcolm Olanrewaju.
Rumour has it that he abandoned her on the altar on their wedding day but the artist manager debunked the rumour. Unfortunately, he died in 2018 after battling with an undisclosed ailment.
Tobi Bakre
Born with a silver spoon, he was an investment banker and had worked in the office of the Accountant General of the Federation and also in Heritage bank before going for the show in the Season 3 edition titled ‘Double Wahala’. He was a finalist but didn’t win.
Tobi is an actor, photographer, host and a model. He got married to his lover, Anu Olasodu in August, 2021 and they are expecting a baby. Tobi is the brother to Kraks TV owner, Femi Bakre.
Natacha Akide (Tacha)
Mother of 3 year old Kimberly was a housemate of season 4 before she got disqualified after her assault on fellow housemate, Mercy Eke who emerged winner.
The 25year old owns a power bank brand called ‘Power Tacha’ which had a massive sale. She influences numerous brands and always announces new feats on her social media handles. She won NET Honours Class of 2020 ‘Most Popular BBNaija Star’ and Class of 2021 ‘Most Popular Person’ Award.
Erica Ngozi Nlewedim
Born in March 13th, 1994, the Lockdown housemate participated in MBGN 2014 but won MBGN Miss Photogenic Awards. She started acting in 2015 and she acted two TV series ‘Secret and Scandals’ and ‘Royal Castle’. The Abia indigene is the only child of her mum and a graduate of Covenant University.
In 2019, she went to study Screen Acting at London Met Film School, UK after which, she bought the BBN form. She has starred in so many movies and presently has a share in Tesla and Amazon. Earlier this month, she bought a Range Rover for herself.
Mercy Eke
Winner of BBN S4 and the first woman to win the show. She participated in the audition four times before she was picked. She keeps trending till now.
Nengi Rebecca Hampson
Finalist at the Lockdown Edition, Nengi keeps giving her fans topic to talk about. She won Miss Queen of Trust in 2013, Miss Bayelsa in 2014 and BlackWomanWorldwide Award for entrepreneur of the year in 2020. Her Shoes by Flora which she launched this year is doing great.
Tboss
Tokunbo Idowu born on the 9th of May, 1984 is a mother of one. She participated in the S2 edition but is still trending. Various men like Sen Dino Melaye, Olakunle Churchill and Uti Nwachukwu were rumoured to be the father of her child.
Ebuka Obi-Uchendu
He never stops trending. He participated in the maiden edition of the show in 2006 but didn’t win, currently, he hosts the show every year. Ebuka is a lawyer, TV host and has won so many awards. He’s married to Cynthia Obianodo and they are blessed with kids. The Anambra born is a fashion icon.
