Nollywood Mourns As Actor Kabiri Fubara Dies Of Cancer

Nigerian actor, Karibi Fubara is dead.

His sister, Aya Eneli, announced his death on her official Twitter account on Wednesday.

She wrote, “My brother, Karibi Fubara, has joined the ancestral realm. I’m devastated, but not hopeless. He lived fully and with joy. Left a great body of work. Will be a powerful ancestor. I love you, #Chief Black.”

According to reports gathered, the actor announced via his Instagram page in 2020 that he found out he had a large mid-stage kidney tumour/cancer.

Fubara has starred in several movies including Before 30, God Calling, Quam’s Money, Castle and Castle, Royal Hibiscus Hotel and Smart Money Woman.

His brother, kalanne_fubara wrote:

“He was a warrior….now he’s an angel in heaven❤

Rest my darling brother Karibi🙏🏽
We will only remember the good times”

Media mogul, MO Abudu wrote on her Instagram page:

“Rest In Peace Karibi. You will be missed. Heaven has gained an Angel.
