Singer, Rema & A Private University Rom@nce Each Other After He Cried Out Over ASUU Strike
Nigerian singer, Rema has reacted after Bowen University invited him to join its private school following Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU strike.
It all started when the music star pleaded with ASUU to call off its ongoing strike.
According to him, since he got admission into the University of Lagos in January, he has not commence his studies.
“ASUU, since dem give me admission I neva start school o, e don do nau!” he wrote in pidgin.
Upon seeing his tweet, Bowen university which is located at Iwo in Osun State replied to the singer’s tweet, saying Rema won’t be delayed by ASUU strike if he joined the private institution.
“ASUU can’t delay you if you’re enrolled in Bowen University.” it wrote.
In response, Rema stated that he has been blushing since the private university toasted him.
He tweeted;
“Unilag private university don dey Toast me o, I’m blushing omg stop it.”
Bowen University is a private Baptist Christian Nigerian university owned and operated by the Nigerian Baptist Convention.
