“What an adventure! I’m a very blessed man” – Gospel singer, Don Moen pens lovely message to wife as they celebrates 49th anniversary
Popular American gospel singer, Don Moen has penned a lovely message to his wife, Laura Moen as they celebrate their 49th wedding anniversary.
Taking to his Instagram page, the song writer whose real name is Donald James Moen, shared an epic throwback photo of his wife.
He went on to recount how he got married to his woman.
According to him, he got married to Laura at a concert at a downtown theater/church in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
The couple had welcomed anyone in the audience to stay for the wedding if they wished.
Surprisingly, over 1,000 people were present at their wedding.
While sharing their wedding story, Don Moen noted that he is blessed to have his wife in his life.
In his words;
“49 years ago today, I married this girl after a concert at a downtown theater/church in Minneapolis, Minnesota. We welcomed anyone in the audience to stay for the wedding if they wished.
The wedding started at 10:00O PM and we had about 1,000 people we didn’t know at our wedding! What an adventure! I’m a very blessed man, and God is so good!!! I LOVE YOU, LAURA!!!!! Happy Anniversary!”.
