Actress, Erica Nlewedim reveals why she hardly attend events

Nollywood actress, Erica Nlewedim has revealed why she hardly attend events.

She revealed this after media personality, Sally Suleiman, disclosed she spent over N500k to attend a wedding in Lagos state.

It all started after a twitter user wondered how celebrities keep up to events every weekend.

The twitter user identified as Inzagh1 has wrote;

“i don’t know how Socialites keep up, back to back events every weekend? Different Asaobi and all the razzmataz plus expenses attached. I remember one year i bought Asoebi like crazy, I sat down one day and did the maths.. i though about my future.”

Media personality, Sally Suleiman reacted to the tweet by listing how much she spends for each event.

She wrote;

“I always wondered until i attended one

Asoebi: 50k

Sewing: 100k

Flight:  Over 150k

Hotel: 150k

Gele Tying: 15K

Makeup: 45k

I didnt include accessories, shoes and bags, logistics in Lagos. Lol”

Reacting to this, Erica Nlewedim revealed that this was the major reason why she hardly attend any wedding or event in Lagos.

According to her, she only bothers to spend money on wedding when it’s work related, or for friends and family.

“Lol it’s way more expensive than this, that’s why I don’t bother going out unless it’s for friends and family.

When you spend all your money on outings, they’ll forget about you and move on to the next trending person.” She wrote.
