Ekweremadu: “I would do the same for my children” — Reno Omokri

London-based Nigerian lawyer, bestselling author, and human rights activist, Reno Omokri has reacted following the arrest of Senator Ike Ekweremadu and his wife, Nwanneka Ekweremadu.

The human rights activist reveal that he would have done anything possible if he were in Ekweremadu’s shoes which includes paying a willing adult to donate theirs for his children if need be.

He went further, to reveal that this is what unconditional love for one’s children feels like because people always bend the rules for the people they love.

In his words:
“If my child is dying and I can bend the rules to save their life, what would I do? I can’t answer that question here. I will never judge parents moved to desperation by grief!

Majority of active people on Twitter are young adults without kids. So, they don’t know the lengths to which love for your kid can drive you. Hence their vitriol.

I empathize greatly with the Ekweremadus in the midst of their travail and hope for their vindication.”

Ike Ekweremadu and his wife are currently facing trial in the UK over allegations of child trafficking for organ harvesting.
