Woman Accuses Chris Brown Of Running With $1.1 Million
LeJuan Bailey, a local businesswoman and the owner and VP of DML Real Estate Investors and Construction, is planning to sue the “Loyal” singer after he charged her for a benefit concert she organized for March.

In a statement released, Bailey explained that she booked Brown for her “One Night Only Benefit Concert” set to hold on Saturday, March 19, 2022, at the Toyota Center.

Brown is set to be present in Houston on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, for another performance at the Toyota Center that is in no way related to Bailey’s “One Night Only Benefit Concert.”

Expressing her grievances against the “Stomp The Yard” star, Bailey said in her statement, “I acted in good faith and sponsored this concert out of love and respect for residents in need. I am appalled that Chris Brown refuses to refund my money for a show he did not appear to after we announced our show and sold tickets.”

She continued, “At this point, it is my humble belief that Chris Brown’s actions are parallel to pure theft. He has the unmitigated gall to take my money, stand up the residents of Houston, then return to the city to perform on August 17, 2022. My message to Chris Brown: We will not sit back and allow you to disrespect the victims of Hurricane Ida and Nicholas in need.”

To further spread the news, Bailey held a press conference on Wednesday, July 13, at LIVE NATION, Houston, joined by Rep. Ron Reynolds of the Texas House of Reps, Councilmember Carolyn Evans-Shabazz, and other political and community activists.

During the press conference, Bailey revealed that Brown’s cancellation left her with “financial hardship” and made it impossible for those depending on her to be disappointed.

My plea right now is to ask Chris and his management or whoever is responsible for that money. We have spoken with the police, they have subpoenaed his records, they found out the wires that we sent and deposits that we gave him,” she disclosed.

Council member Evans-Shabazz explained that the location of LIVE NATION for the press conference was deliberate as they were hoping to send a message to the entertainment company in charge of Brown’s tour schedule with dates for performances in Houston.
