#2023Election: “I’ll Never In My Life Support Igbo Presidency,” – Gov. Dave Umahi Vows, Asks Ebonyi Citizens To Vote Tinubu
Dave Umahi, the Governor of Ebonyi State has stated that he can never support Igbo presidency for the 2023 presidential election.
According to him, people from South East pretend a lot and this is why he will never support anyone from there to become President.
The former presidential candidate said;
“I have no singular reason to support anyone from the Eastern part of the country to become the President of this country because we pretend alot.
“The gang up in the Eastern region is becoming worrisome and has not in any way helped us as a tribe or region. Tell me why I should support anyone the East contesting to be President he said.”
On why he doesn’t want Igbo Presidency, Dave Umahi said he was betrayed by the delegates from the East.
He said;
“During the APC Party Primary, I put in 100 percent work but what did I get in return betrayal. Among all the aspirants, I am the most qualified but they ganged up against that mandate and turn around now to ask me to support an Igbo Presidency.
I have said it countless times and I will repeat it again and again that Peter Obi is going nowhere and Ebonyi people are not going to vote him. Over vote belongs to Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
“Ohanaeze now have voice to shout support Igbo Presidency but they lost their voice when injustice and saboteur was the order of the day during our party primary election.
He also stated that Ebonyi state will only vote All Progressive Congress, (APC) Presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu.
“Nobody can share our votes or for Labour Party Peter Obi, I have said it earlier and I am still saying it again.” He added.
