“He Betrayed Me In Private”- Model, Fancy Acholonu Finally Open Up On Why She Called Off Her Wedding With Actor Alex Ekubo
US-based Nigerian model, Fancy Acholonu has finally revealed why she called off her wedding to Nollywood actor, Alex Ekubo.
Recall that in August 2021, Fancy had called off her 3months engagement with the actor on her Instagram page.
“Hey Guys, I am writing to inform you all officially that I have ended my relationship, engagement, and I have called off the wedding with Alexx Ekubo.
“I made the best decision for myself because it is important that everyone find their happiness and live in their truth. “ She announced.
However, the statement, “live in their truth’ sparked speculation that the sexuality of Alexx Ekubo caused the crash of the relationship.
Addressing this in a statement shared on her Instagram page, Fancy said her words were twisted and taken out of context.
According to her, “living in one’s truth is to live as your most authentic self, to live by what you preach.”
Fancy Acholonu debunked the rumours of Alex Ekubo being homosexual. She also tendered an apology to him and his family over how she handled the breakup.
However, Fancy stated she wouldn’t be disclosing why they broke up and this is because she and Alex had talked things out and he had apologized to her in private.
