Music Executive Soso Soberekon Sues Singer Harrysong Over Alleged Def@matory Statement, Demands N500million Compensation
Music executive Soso Soberekon has sued singer Harrysong for alleged libel over claims the talent manager sent assassins to eliminate him.
Harrysong made the allegation while speaking on the “Frankly Speaking” podcast co-hosted by comedian, Nedu Wazobia.
The ‘Reggae Blues’ singer lamented most friendships in the industry were for selfish gains.
Harrysong stated contrary to people’s beliefs Soso Soberekon wasn’t his friend but actually an enemy, alleging he sent ‘people to come and kill him in Port Harcourt.
Reacting to the allegation, Soberekon demanded that Harrysong retracts the statement and tender an apology.
In a suit filed by his legal representatives, the talent manager also requested the sum of N500 million for damages such claims caused by the libelous publication to his reputation.
Sharing the lawsuit notice dated September 4, 2022, via his Instagram story, White Lion wrote: “As a matter of fact, I always mind my business, stay on my lane and put smiles on people’s faces. It is very disappointing that Harrysong will make such a false, reckless and defamatory statement.”

In other news, Actor and comedian Mr Macaroni has responded to the fulmination launched against some non-indigenes of Lagos state ahead of the 2023 general election.
In a tweet he shared, the comedian revealed that while his state of origin in Ogun state, he was born in Lagos and also lived all his life in the South-West state.
Mr Macaroni went on to ask those telling non-indigenes to leave or not to campaign in the state, if they are originally from Lagos.
He tweeted;
“My state of Origin is Ogun. I was born and bred in Lagos. I have lived all my life in Lagos. Why are u suddenly asking me to go back to Ogun state? How many of you asking us to leave Lagos are even originally from Lagos? Election will come and go, But the people will remain!”
