During the show, Mercy Johnson asked about her relationship with her ex husband and his relationship with his son, she said;

He doesn’t call, he doesn’t do nothing, apart from the marriage we had a good, solid friendship and I believe because of that friendship, we should be experiencing this.

Even the first time he came to the house, I had told him if I don’t see him, when my son becomes 5 years old I would remove his surname and he would bear only mine.

As of now my son has a compound surname Jegede-Fawole, because I know how much I suffered for him emotionally and financially and otherwise so I want him to have my name too.

Even to give birth to him overseas, I suffered and cleared my account to make sure my son had another passport.

Before Fawole acknowledged his son, a lot of people said negative things about me, saying I cheated and they were disappointed in me and it was hurtful because I know he is the father of my Child.

When my son started asking about his father I sent him and his family messages for Fawole to come and see his son,  his older brother replied that I should just tell Xavier about his father, most likely because he doesn’t want to see him.

Anyone that knows me knows the house is very open for him to come, his properties are still there but he has refused.

My father had to go for my son’s Father’s Day and it pained me.

I would not poison my son against him, but I know my son is smart enough to know the right thing to do.

This was an emotional moment for both Mercy and Yvonne as they teared up and hugged.
