Singer, Davido Confirmed To Perform At The World Cup Closing Ceremony

Nigerian singer, Davido has concluded plans to be at the ongoing FIFA worldcup closing ceremony next week in Qatar, his team confirms.

He was reportedly set to perform at the opening ceremony initially, but couldn’t make it due to obvious reasons. He will now be performing alongside other internationally acclaimed musical artistes on the FIFA stage next week.

Traditionally, artists who’ve released a song or anthem for that year’s World Cup perform at the closing ceremony, and the global artist who is known to have a collabo song ‘Better Together’ with Trinidad Cardona and Aisha will be performing at the closing ceremony next week.

This will be his first stage appearance since he went off the social radar following the death of his first son.
