“There Are Lots Of Famous Broke People” – Actor, Deyemi Okanlawon

Popular Nigerian actor, Deyemi Okanlawon has revealed the financial state of most celebrities and public figures.

He made this know in a post via his microblogging platform, Twitter as he explained why his colleagues should try to reach for “highest earning”, instead of aiming for “highest grossing” or “highest featured”.

After a follower who reacted to the tweet asked if fame brings money, Deyemi replied by stating that there are many broke famous people. He added that while fame is a byproduct, it is work strategy and work ethics that brings money.

He had tweeted;
“Not every time aim for HIGHEST GROSSING or HIGHEST FEATURED… more often reach for HIGHEST EARNING!”.

In his reply tweet to a follower, he wrote; “There are lots of famous broke ppl… fame is a byproduct, it’s the talent and the grind (work strategy and work ethic) that brings the bag”.

In other news, Nigerian politician and philanthropist, Opeyemi Falegan has thrown a subtle shade at his ex, Nkechi Blessing and Tonto Dikeh.

This is coming a day after Tonto Dikeh claimed that she married and fed a ”mini man and his mother” with her hard earned money.
 

Recall that Nkechi Blessing-Sunday had accused her ex, Falegan of being lazy and not being able to take care of himself, adding that she fed him.

He stated that many of them lie to gain recognition or respect.

“Naija yeyebrities once you dump them, their next confession is “I fed him. They would lie to gain recognition or respect.

Questioning them, he wrote, “But why all the lies? Kilode? This must stop”.
