In other news, NBA star, Tristan Thompson has reached a settlement in his ongoing paternity case with Maralee Nichols.
The parents of Theo, age one, have settled to terms that the NBA player, 31, will pay $9,500 a month in child support as he is currently not contracted to a team and is not earning income.
Last year, Thompson conceived a child with Nichols while in a relationship with reality star Khloe Kardashian, 38 with whom he shares two children.
Sources revealed to TMZ that Nichols was granted sole custody of their son, but they have not yet worked out a visitation schedule.
The former Chicago Bulls player also partially covered his baby mother’s legal fees during their settlement case and will now be officially named as the father on the birth certificate.
The insiders revealed the paternity settlement agreement will be filed in the Los Angeles County Superior Court on Friday.
Later, Khloe who already shared True, four, with Thompson revealed on season two of The Kardashians on Hulu that they were expecting a baby boy together through surrogacy at the time of the revelation of his ongoing infidelity.
The former couple had successfully conceived a son through IVF in November 2021 just weeks prior to the birth of Thompson and Nichols’ son.
When Nichols gave birth to Theo in December 2021, she sued Thompson for child support and claimed that he allegedly offered her $75,000 in exchange for her silence.
DailyMail report revealed that Thompson had filed an emergency petition and essentially a gag order to silence Nichols.
A June 2022 episode of The Kardashians showed the Good American founder discovering Thompson’s repeated infidelity when the lawsuit was made public in December 2021.
