“It Takes A GOAT To Recognize A GOAT” – Singer Tems Brags Following Snoop Dogg’s Request For Collaboration
After receiving a request for a collaboration from American rapper Snoop Dogg, Tems has bragged about her musical prowess.
You may recall that the renowned rapper who asked the Nigerian singer to collaborate on a song said that his family loves her music.
He asked they go into the studio and create a hit song together.
Moments later, Tems took to her Twitter page to boast that you only know you’re a GOAT – a word which describes a person who has performed remarkably – when you attract other GOATs.
In her words:
“How you know you tha 🐐 is when you attract the all the 🐐’s.
It don’t take too long for a GOAT to recognise another GOAT. But the sheep, they always blind af.”
Meanwhile, Snoop Dogg revealed he want a music collaboration with Nigerian singer, Tems.
The rapper who has since sold over 23 million albums in the United States and 35 million albums worldwide revealed this in a video that went viral on Twitter.
In the viral video Snoop Dogg asked, “So Tems, when are we going to make a record? You know I am a fan, let’s make a fucking hit record girl.”
“You have my whole family dancing to your shit, I need one with you,” Snoop Dogg begged.
Tems rose to prominence after she was featured on Wizkid’s 2020 single “Essence”, which reached the top ten of the Billboard Hot 100 after the release of a remixed version with an additional feature from Justin Bieber, and earned her a Grammy Award nomination. That same year, she was featured on Drake’s song, “Fountains”.
