In the midst of the ongoing public outrage over the results of the recently concluded presidential, senatorial, and house of representatives elections held in some polling units scattered across the country’s 774 Local Government Areas, the APC PCC’s Special Advisor on Media and Strategic Communications, Dele Alake, has recently called for the arrest of the General Overseer of Dunamis Church, Paul Enenche, and two spokespersons for the opposition People’s Democratic Party, Dino Melaye and made the announcement in Abuja on Monday.

In his subsequent statements, he made a funny declaration in which he said, “We see with the highest concern such inciting remarks and appeals to violence by some opposition spokespersons, especially those from the Peoples Democratic Party. Our specific concern leads us to demand that people like Dino Melaye, Dele Momodu, and a certain Pastor Paul Enenche of the Dunamis Church be immediately restrained from their apparent encouragement to violence.

Dele Alake added a rhetorical question to his statement, asking,  “how is it possible for a proclaimed man of God to threaten people from the pulpit because the candidate that he and his brother supported lost? How can you profane the reverence of the pulpit by sacrificing it to partisanship? That is disgusting.”
