“What Seun Did Was Wrong! Please Temper Justice With Mercy!” – Singer Peter Okoye Begs Nigerian Police, Plead For Release Of Seun Kuti (DETAILS)

Nigerian singer, Peter Okoye has pleaded with Nigeria Police Force to temper justice with mercy over his colleague, Seun Kuti’s faceoff with a police officer on Third mainland bridge.

You may recall we reported that on Saturday, May 13, the inspector general of police had called for arrest of Seun Kuti after a video of Seun pushing and slapping a policeman made it way online. His action has been condemned by many police officers.

Peter in his tweets acknowledged that Seun erred in his action and appealed that justice should be tempered with mercy.

Quite an unfortunate incident and from reports, it seems Seun’s family was in danger hence the altercation.
