Actor Chinedu Ikedieze has cried out over the alarming rate people slide into his DM to beg for money
In a video shared on his page on Sunday evening, July 9, the actor said someone sent him a message asking for $35,000 while another person sent him a DM requesting for $12,000. The actor pointed out that the monetary requests do not only come from Nigerians.
He appealed to social media users to be conscious of the fact that celebrities also have responsibilities as well.

In other news, Nigerian comedian, Okey Bakassi has sent a message to those who may want to seek for financial support from him.
Taking to his Twitter account, Okey said he is currently not in any position to assist them financially.
According to him, he will only be able to help when he confirms where the government is taking Nigerians to economically.
He tweeted; “TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN
I’M NOT CURRENTLY IN ANY POSITION TO SUPPORT YOU FINANCIALLY. PLEASE BEAR WITH ME. I’LL GET BACK TO YOU ONCE I CONFIRM EXACTLY WHERE THE GOVERNMENT IS TAKING US TO (ECONOMICALLY).
