“Find another worthwhile vocation” — President Tinubu tells Peter Obi following his recent press conference (DETAIL)

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has told the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi to find a better vocation instead of casting aspersions on the judgment of the Supreme Court.

Obi had at a news conference on Monday cast aspersions on the judgment of the Supreme Court, saying it eroded Nigerians’ confidence in the apex court.

The nation’s apex court had two weeks ago thrown out the petitions of Obi and that of the PDP’s candidate, Atiku Abubakar against President Bola Tinubu.

Reacting to Obi‘s news conference, the presidency said it was at a loss as to how the copy-cat Obi and his faction of Labour Party convinced themselves they won an election in which they came a distant third.

Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, in a statement, said the grand delusion that made Obi believe he could have won a national election where he ran the most hateful, divisive and polarising campaign that pitched Christians against Muslims and one ethnic group against the other in a multi-ethnic and multi-religious society like Nigeria, should be a matter for deeper examination.
