“I had panic a++acks due to piracy of Malaika” – Abraham reveals, arrests culprits [ SEE VIDEO ]

Popular Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham has said that she was hospitalized because of the panic attacks she had due to the piracy against her film ‘ Malaika ‘.

The film which featured veteran actor Emeka Ike in his return to Nollywood after 13 years and a host of many others was fazed with the illegal upload and streaming by movie pirates. 

Toyin Abraham telling newsmen in Lagos ” I just came from the hospital, I have been having panic attacks, it’s not easy shooting a movie for close to 500 million and you just see it out there” she said on the Malaika film. She further addressed that the fight against piracy “is not a fight for herself, or personal business but a fight for the creative industry”.

A total of five suspects (two women and three men) have been arrested to the connection of the alleged piracy against the Malaika Film. They were suspected to have involve in conspiracy, infringement of property and cyber related crimes to broadcast the movie.

Toyin commended the AIG IG Idowu Owohunwa and the Police for a job well done by arresting the suspects involved.
