A mature Nigerian man has criticised Nigerians for celebrating the AFCON semi-finals victory.
Recall, Nigeria qualified for the finals after they defeated South Africa via penalties.
Following this, the Nigerian Twitter said he sees no reason Nigerians should be happy considering the situation of the country and since it’s not the World Cup.
She wrote; “Why are you celebrating ordinary AFCON semi final as if we won the World Cup?
Even if we win the Cup, what’s your benefit ?
The country is not smiling, I don’t see any reason to be happy or celebrate anything!
Stop the suffering & smiling.
Let’s be mature!”.
