”Son No Matter What Happens, You Are Still A Legend” – Davido Opens Up On What His Father Told Him After Grammy Loss
Popular Nigerian afrobeat singer and record label boss, David Adeleke also known as Davido has opened up on what his father told him after his Grammy loss.
Recall, that Davido among other Nigerian artists (Burna Boy, Ayra Starr, Asake and Olamide) lost his 3 Grammy nominations. One which is in the category of “Africa’s best music performance of the year” was lost to South African singer, Tylaa.
Days after his Grammy loss, David in a recent video said all he wanted to do was listen to his song on the radio.
He further said that just being nominated for the awards is another thing for him and that made him feel so proud of himself.
When asked about his father’s reaction to his Grammy loss, Davido said his father told him that no matter what happens, he’s still a legend.
