AFCON 2023: Why I Was Never Moved By Super Eagles Wins – Rapper, Blaqbonez Reveals

Nigerian Rapper, Emeka Akumefule, popularly known as Blaqbonez, has said that he was never impressed by the Nigerian super eagles wins in their AFCON 2023 campaign. He shared this after the host nation Ivory Coast performed an incredible comeback to win the AFCON trophy in their home soil.

The super eagles were the first to score in the game, through captain William Troost Ekong’s Header in the 35th minute of the first half. But the Elephants of Ivory Coast equalized in the second half and later went on to score the winning goal thanks to their striker, Sebastian Haller.

Blaqbonez, taking to his X account, wrote: “Now that we’ve lost, let’s say the truth, we have been sh!t through this whole tournament, anyone that knows football knows, all these fluke äss wins never moved me”.
