Popular actress & politician, Tonto Dikeh has reflected on the death of her stepmum who passed on last year and the absence of her mother. Tonto prayed for her followers as she spoke on the importance of a mother in a child’s life.
Tonto wrote:
“When your star begins to shine, may your mother never be absent…Amen/Amin…i miss my step mummy, my backbone to every success i am….as a mother may i not be ever absent for my child. Amen”
In other news, Nollywood actress and producer, Ini Edo is reportedly fighting a legal battle with colleague and co-producer, Chinenye Nworah, over ownership of the 2023 Netflix hit “Shanty Town”.
Channels TV made this report on their reputable platform few days ago.
A Cease & Desist Letter From Ini Edo’s Legal Team Reads:
“It has come to our client’s attention that Netflix is currently negotiating a sequel to the cinematograph film- Shanty Town with Ms Chinenye Nworah and Giant Creative Media Limited without the knowledge of our client as co-owners of the intellectual property rights over the work, Shanty Town.”
Chinenye Nworah’s Disclaimer Reads:
“We wish to notify the public to ignore such false claims as we continue to access our right as the sole and exclusive owners of the copyright and all associated intellectual property in the movie SHANTY TOWN…..”
