Popular Nigerian Gospel singer, Mercy Chinwo, and her husband, Blessed, melt hearts online following their kind gesture at a recent concert.
Over the weekend, at their Overwhelming concert held at the University of Port Harcourt, Mercy Chinwo and her husband announced a scholarship donation to fifty students.
The singer’s husband announced the scholarship donation before the end of the concert.
He revealed that the scholarship will cover the student’s feeding, school fees, and other miscellaneous expenses for a year.
As he announced the donation, the audience erupted in cheers and raised portraits of Mercy Chinwo, showing their enthusiasm.
A video showing footage from the concert showed the moment the singer, her husband along with a body guard were picking students who they would offer scholarship.
