In a viral clip that surfaces online, During a recent sermon, Pastor Adeboye shared the extraordinary story of a man working in Lagos who learned of his sister’s death in the Eastern part of Nigeria. The man, unable to immediately travel due to work commitments, requested that her burial be delayed until he could secure permission to attend.
Despite his efforts, by the time he was able to make the journey, his sister had been dead for eleven days. Armed with an anointed handkerchief from his church, the man placed it on his sister and prayed fervently.
In a remarkable turn of events, Pastor Adeboye reported that the woman was restored to life, demonstrating the power of faith and divine intervention. The story was shared with congregants as a testament to the miraculous potential of spiritual tools and prayers.

“A young man was walking in Lagos, and then they told him his sister died in the southeast state of Nigeria. And then he told them please don’t bury her yet. I’ll get permission from my place of work so I can come and be there.
“By the time he got permission, he was able to arrive, the woman had been dead for eleven days.
