Nelly further revealed that she had warned Sooj to stay away from her, setting a clear boundary between them.

Nelly also had a conversation with Ben , they discussed about her issues with Sooj.

Nelly’s conversation with Ben:

Nelly: My main issue was that I wasn’t getting a reasonable explanation. First off, he told me about Rhutee, how she speculated that he was interested in her, but the only connection they had was that when she cooked, she’d keep some for him, so he decided to get to know her. I asked him, if you heard such a thing, wouldn’t you call her the next day to clear the air so she doesn’t misinterpret your intentions? You know how girls can mistake kindness for something else.

Ben: That’s true.

Nelly: Then I asked him about Victoria, and I didn’t get a reasonable explanation for that either. He said their conversation was just about their closeness with Shatoria when they came in. I told him, there’s no sm0ke without fire—no girl would just sit down and claim that a guy is asking her out. I’ve seen Victoria have conversations with Chinwe several times, so imagine a topic came up that made Victoria say, “Sooj even asked me out.” You don’t agree?

Nelly: As for Chinwe, he told me he cleared the air with her immediately. Chinwe asked him who he liked, and he said the person he liked was taken. When she asked who, he said it was her and then told her he was just joking. And now, I don’t know what I did to this girl, but she started acting differently towards me. Could that be the source of my pr0blems? I don’t know why, but she just started giving me attitude.

Nelly: When they were talking at the table with codes, only Anita and I were l0st. So, for these people to know that means they’ve had these conversations separately without us. I asked him, if you told this person it was a joke, why did she still go and tell her boyfriend that you said such things? And you told me you had a conversation with the boyfriend, so why is she still holding onto what you said? Was it your strategy in the first week to disrupt relationships?

Ben: Maybe.

Nelly: I just told him I’m not getting a reasonable explanation.

Ben: You guys should just talk it over.

Nelly: I don’t have anything to say to him because it’s quite emb@rrassing. Why didn’t he tell me all this while? After I mentioned it, I expected him to call both of them aside and ask why she’s still saying these things when he told her it was a joke. But no, instead… Honestly, everyone should just stay in their lane. I’m not interested anymore; there’s nothing to talk about because it doesn’t make sense and it doesn’t sit well with me.

Ben: I feel like it’s because you’re still pi$sed.

Nelly: One little me$s-up throws me off balance. I’m always as sincere as possible. Imagine if I heard it; I’d be like, “Oh, he told me.” Even his answers about Victoria were very political. He’s not being straightforward, so I just told him to stay away from me, please. I don’t need him around me.
