“Shaun Is Not Genuine & We Can’t Trust Him Anymore”- Nelly & Sooj Discuss About Shaun’s Gossip With Wanni

During the live show on Sunday, the host, Ebuka, revealed a private conversation between housemates Shaun and Wanni, where they discussed the authenticity of fellow housemate Nelly’s hips, claiming they were the result of a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL).

Wanni & Shaun even went as far as calling Sooj, Nelly’s boyfriend and housemate, inexperienced for believing that her hips were natural. According to Shaun, it was Sooj who had initially mentioned the topic to him.

Following the revelation, tensions flared as Nelly confronted Sooj, seeking clarity on the situation.

Nelly expressed her concerns to Sooj, stating, “Shaun was like why are you getting angry about the issue (nyash talk) when it was you (Sooj) that brought the conversation to them.” She continued, “When Shaun spoke to me, it was as if he was trying to make me get mad at you. Because he said, you brought the issue to him and the others. I told him, you are not angry about that. It’s the fact that he brought it up weeks after.”

Nelly also revealed that another housemate, Topher, advised Shaun to address the issue directly with Sooj, but Shaun refused, saying he “cannot apologize for what he said.”

Sooj, on his part, shared his frustration with Nelly, explaining, “We spoke and there was no apology, it was just him trying to vindicate and trying to shift the blame.”

As the conversation unfolded, Nelly expressed her doubts about Shaun’s sincerity, stating, “Something is not just adding up, something is not right, d whole smile & thing… I feel the smile is just a cover up it’s not from the heart, cos rn, I don’t feel he’s (Shaun) genuine, I don’t think I can trust them, for anything.”

Sooj agreed, noting, “As d game goes on you will start seeing certain traits from people that wasn’t there from the onset.” He also accused Shaun of trying to gaslight him, saying, “Shaun tried to gaslight me into getting pissed at you after the HOH GAME. He came and asked me, if I was pissed at you.”

The situation has left Nelly and Sooj questioning the authenticity of their relationships in the house, as trust continues to erode among the housemates. With the game intensifying, it remains to be seen how these revelations will impact the dynamics within the Big Brother Naija house.
