Akwa Ibom First Lady, Patience Umo Eno Is Dead (DETAILS)

Mrs. Patience Umo Eno, the wife of Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, has passed away.

The sad news was confirmed in a statement released by the state’s Commissioner for Information, Ini Ememobong, in the early hours of Friday.

According to the commissioner, the First Lady died on September 26, 2024, at a hospital, surrounded by her family.

The statement, titled “Unexpected Sunset,” reads: “It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Her Excellency, Pastor Mrs. Patience Umo Eno, wife of the Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State, after a period of illness.

“She passed away peacefully on September 26, 2024, in the presence of her loved ones.

“The family accepts the will of the Almighty and requests prayers and support from kind-hearted individuals during this challenging time.

“Further details will be provided by the family as necessary. In the meantime, they ask for privacy as they grieve the loss of a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

“His Excellency, Governor Pastor Umo Eno, extends his gratitude to those who have supported the first family during this period and reassures citizens that, despite this immense personal loss, his dedication to serving the state remains steadfast.”
