In a recent interview with Channels TV, Big Brother Naija winner Kellyrae opened up about a touching moment with his wife, Kassia, following his victory.

The reality star, who kept his marriage a secret during the show, revealed that his wife whispered something surprising to him after he was announced the winner. “My wife just whispered some things in my ear, ‘Omo, we are loved outside o,'” Kellyrae shared, still in disbelief about the support they received.

Kellyrae further explained that their decision to not disclose their marriage was not a strategy to win but rather an effort to form genuine connections with fellow housemates. “People might call me and Kassia not revealing that we were married a strategy, but for me, it wasn’t,” he clarified. “I wanted people to connect with us as normal housemates, without any preconceived notions.”

“Honestly, if you watch my diary sessions, I told Big Brother that I had no idea what has kept me in the house. Because I didn’t know what was happening outside. Even till now sef, I still don’t know. I don’t have my phone yet. I have no idea what has been happening outside.

My wife just whispered some things in my ear that “omo, we are loved outside o” but I still don’t know the magnitude of love we have. So people might call me and Kassia not revealing that we were married strategy, but for me it wasn’t strategy. I did it because I wanted real connections, real friendships. And that’s the reason why I didn’t tell them that Kassia is my wife. Do you understand? It’s not like I wanted to do it because I felt like it would take us far or make us win. I wanted people to connect with us as normal housemates.”

Kellyrae remains grounded, expressing that he still has no idea of the full extent of the love and support they garnered while in the house.
