Sonia Adesua, ex-wife of footballer Jude Ighalo, sparks controversy with a recent social media post, hints at refunding bride price.

Earlier, MO Media reported that the former couple engaged in a dramatic social media back-and-forth, generating widespread reactions.

However, Sonia appears to have reignited the social media feud with her ex-husband, Jude Ighalo, aiming subtle shades.

In a series of Instagram posts, Sonia announced her intention to refund her bride price of ₦24, revealing that her father contributed half of the amount.

According to Sonia, her father covered all the wedding expenses, and accused her mother-in-law of treating her cruelly.

Additionally, the mother of two shared a harrowing postpartum experience that nearly took her life, describing herself as God’s living testimony.

Her post reads, “Who will tell them to send account details to refund the bride price? I no go again, don turn to wahala. On top of 24 naira wey you pay, and my parents even give you house to take care of their only daughter, na una want still dey dress me put?? Make my papa come from America on top marriage wey him sponsor. May we not encounter evil mother-in-laws in Jesus name, amen🙏” .
