“May Edochie Seems to Be Enjoying the Toxicity from Her Fans” – Actress Uche Ogbodo Calls Out May & Online Bulli£s
Nollywood actress Uche Ogbodo recently took to social media to express her frustration over the actions of fans supporting May Edochie.
The actress accused May of seemingly enjoying the “toxicity” displayed by her fanbase, which Ogbodo claims has resulted in constant bullying and harassment toward her.
In a series of Instagram Stories, Ogbodo shared her thoughts, calling out what she described as toxic and bullying behavior. She wrote:
“It is I UCHE OGBODO mumu people are trying to bully and intimidate. Mtcheeeew.”
Ogbodo explained that she decided to block May Edochie after realizing that May did not appear to be addressing or discouraging her fans’ negative actions. According to Ogbodo, her attempts to simply like May’s photos in peace were met with a barrage of toxic comments from May’s fans, who she describes as a “very toxic bunch.” In her posts, Ogbodo elaborated:
“I Blocked May because you Lots won’t let me Like her pictures in peace. And she seems to enjoy the Toxicity! So that pissed me off! As she can not tell you to stop insulting and trolling an innocent person, what’s the need to continue to follow.”
Ogbodo, standing firm in her beliefs, expressed her decision to not engage in negative talk about Yul Edochie or his current wife, Judy Austin, despite public pressure to take sides in the controversial situation. She clarified:
“I beat my Own drums! And I’m not gonna come out publicly to Dehumanize Yul Edochie or make Caricature of Judy before you know I don’t Support them! This is my Life and my Page, if you hate me that Much, kindly Unfollow! Thanks.”
Addressing her followers directly, Uche warned them against attempting to control her actions on social media, stating:
“You people do not own this Social Media ooo! No matter how Toxic you get, you can never pass WikidFC. Stop watching my videos if it hurts so bad! Misfortune is Life and it’s rotational, it will surely Swing. So wait for your own turn. Allow me enjoy mine.”
The actress further called out the lack of understanding about karma, telling her critics:
> “Singing Karma Karma 😂😂 Karma dey visit innocent person? Someone whose heart is pure and not ridden with evil? Hell No! You Senseless Lots don’t even know nothing about Karma Karma 😂. Thief stole my things then it’s my Karma because I chose to mind my business. Lol 😆 chai! Ok oooo! The Real Karma is coming to you all for actually being Evil and vile towards people. You just wait!”
In another bold statement, Ogbodo directed her message to May Edochie’s fanbase specifically, branding them as a “toxic bunch” and warning that their actions would ultimately have consequences:
> “Toxic May Edochie Fans! Unah go cry taya oooo. Very very Toxic bunch of Lunatics!”
Uche Ogbodo’s statements have stirred up conversations on social media, with many users divided on her stance. While some applauded her for standing up against online bullying, others questioned whether calling out May’s fanbase was necessary. The ongoing exchange has highlighted the challenges celebrities face with fan behavior and social media dynamics in the entertainment industry.
