Two Reverend Sisters, three others burnt to ashes in a ghastly Motor accident in Anambra state

Two Reverend Sisters, their driver and a Couple have been burnt to ashes after their vehicles crashed at the Nawfia axis of the Enugu-Onitsha Expressway, Anambra state.

According to reports,  the Reverend Sisters are identified as Rev Sr  Virginia Obike, the principal of Handmaid’s secondary school, Amansea, Awka North LGA and Rev. Sr Monica Ilem, the school bursar while their diver was Mr Chamberlain Umunakwe.

They were travelling to Amansea in a Toyota Hiace bus belonging to the school and were coming from Ifite-Ogwari, Ayamelum LGA, where they went to purchase bags of rice for the school when the accident occurred.

Other victims in a Toyota Highlander were identified as Mr Emmanuel Okeke, former Anambra State Government Storekeeper, and his wife.

Speaking about their sad incident, an eyewitness, Mr. Chinecherem Okonkwo revealed that he arrived at the accident scene yesterday night during light rainfall when the vehicles were still burning.

However, before help could come, it was too late.
