Bbnaija’s Mercy Eke Sl@ms Haters Making Fun Of Her Igbo Accent (Video)
BBnaija 2019 winner, Mercy Eke has addressed trolls who make fun of her Igbo accent.
She did this while speaking in an interview.
According to her, she had lived practically all her life in Owerri, Imo state, and the only thing that had made her leave Owerri was her mandatory one-year youth service.
Mercy talked about how lot of great men/women in the world retain their native accents regardless of their fame and are still very much adored for it.
She added that it’s only in Nigeria that people laugh at each other’s accents.
Addressing individuals who make fun of her Igbo accent, Mercy Eke asked them how they expect her to use an accent different from what she grew up with.
