“I’m tired of feeling sad and helpless” Singer, Falz cries out

Nigerian singer, Folarin Falana popularly known as Falz has complained over the state of things in the country.

The singer revealed that he has become tired of feeling sad, ashamed and helpless.

Falz made this known as he reacted to the statement of Senator Shehu Sani where he claimed the government had spent over N4 trillion naira on defence in seven years yet the country is still living under the Mercy of terrorists.

Shehu tweeted, “The Government spent over N4 trillion naira on defence in Seven years; including a Billion Dollar for Tucano jets and another close to a Billion Dollar on attack helicopters; And we are still living at the mercy of a roving gang of terrorists on motorcycles”.

In reaction, Falz wrote:

“At what point those this shit become too ridiculous?!

I’m really tired of feeling sad, ashamed and helpless”.

Some months ago, the singer declined the invite for a peace walk from Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

In a post shared on the microblogging platform Twitter, Falz described the walk for peace as a big joke and disrespect.

Falz recalled how people were murdered in cold blood, and no iota of justice had been served for more than a year after the incident.

Falz questioned Sanwo-Olu on how there would be peace when justice had not been served on behalf of Nigerians who had their lives snatched away by the armed forces.
