Police sources in Durban have confirmed rapper Kiernan ‘AKA’ Forbes was shot dead in a drive-by shooting on Florida Road on Friday night.

It is understood that AKA was standing outside the Wish Restaurant when he was gunned down in a drive-by shooting.

Two unknown cars are believed to have opened fire just before 10pm.

Few hours before his death, a friend who was inside the restaurant with him, posted a video on social media, zooming in on a sign showing the name of the restaurant, social media users feel the person was trying to give the killers hint of his location.
